SBI Clerk 2025 Exam Summary
The SBI Clerk Exam is held annually by the State Bank of India to recruit candidates for the position of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in its branches across the country. The SBI Clerk exam is highly sought after, attracting a large number of candidates each year. In 2025, the State Bank of India will conduct both the Prelims, Mains, and LLPT for the SBI Clerk to shortlist candidates for 6589 vacancies. SBI Clerk 2025 Important Dates
SBI has officially announced the mains exam date for the SBI Clerk 2025 Junior Associate Mains Exam. As announced, the phase 2 exam for Clerk (Junior Associates) posts will be held on 21st November 2025. The SBI Clerk Mains Admit Card 2025 has been released on 14th November 2025. SBI Clerk Vacancy 2025
The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the number of vacancies for Clerk / Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts in the clerical cadre in the State Bank of India through SBI Clerk Notification 2025. This year, SBI announced 6589 vacancies across the country. Out of the total vacancies, 1409 were backlog vacancies.

BI Clerk (Junior Associates) Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of the SBI Clerk 2025 exam are mainly about two pre-requisites:
SBI Clerk Educational Qualifications (as on 31/12/2025)
He/she must hold a valid graduation degree (UG) in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD.
Note: Candidates in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply for the SBI Clerk exam. If provisionally selected, they will be required to produce proof of having passed their graduation examination.
SBI Clerk Age Limit (as on 01/04/2025)
Not below 20 years and not above 28 years, i.e. the candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1997 and not later than 01.04.2005 (both days inclusive).

SBI Clerk 2025 Application Fee
The category-wise fee structure for the SBI Clerk online application is given below. The application fee for the SBI Exam is Rs. 750/- for the General category and NIL for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category as mentioned in SBI Clerk Notification 2025. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can they be held in reserve for any other examination or selection. The application fee must be paid online itself.

SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2025 Selection Procedure
For the selection to the post of Clerical Cadre through the SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2025 exam, candidates are selected through two phases of exams- SBI Clerk Prelims and SBI Clerk Mains exam followed by Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). All candidates must clear both phases to secure the appointment letter from SBI. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.
Note- Trained apprentices of SBI may be given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks (i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks.
SBI Clerk 2025 Exam Pattern

As per the official notification released by SBI, “No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed”. Thus, there will not be any sectional cut-off for this year’s SBI Junior Associates Recruitment Online Examination. However, the criteria solely lie within the hands of the organisation.
